Class Policies
Class / Training
To help us foster "the opportunity to become the best you can be", we ask that each and every student/athlete follow the following rules of preparation and training.
- Please arrive at the gym on time and ready for class.
- Attitude is everything! The most important thing you can bring to gymnastics lessons is an “I can!” attitude and a smile!
- Wear proper sports/activity attire (i.e., leotards, dance clothing, gym shorts, t-shirts) Street clothing with buttons or zippers can be dangerous to athletes and coaches and can damage equipment.
- Tie back long hair before class.
- Remove jewelry including rings, watches, earrings that hang or loop, etc.
- To maintain safety and minimize class disruption, any student more than ten minutes late to gymnastics lessons may not be allowed to fully participate in class activities.
- Keep food, drinks, and especially gum, out of the gym area.
- Wait politely in the observation area or designated waiting area for classes to begin. Parents are responsible for their own children before and after class.
- No child, of any age, is allowed to wait outside the gym for pick-up. Parents must park in the designated areas and come into the building to pick up their children.
- Parking at some locations is restricted to certain areas and you must agree to follow all requirements and restrictions for parking. Respect for each other, for safety, and for patience is greatly appreciated.
- NO smoking is permited in or around the facility. Smokers must stay at least 50 feet from all doorways or entrances – and preferrably down wind.
Make-ups, Changes and Cancellations
- As a courtesy, we offer make-ups for missed classes in various formats. Visit the front desk for information specific to your site. All make up gymnastics lessons must be scheduled in advance and are offered only to those currently enrolled in a regular weekly class.
- A “Change Order Form” is available at the front counter and must be completed by the parent or guardian for any changes in class level or time, including preschool, recreation, or team level changes.
- All non-session members are required to provide a thirty day written notice of cancellation of classes. If this WRITTEN notice is not received you will be responsible for one full month of payment (4 weeks) from the last date of attendance. This record will be taken from the roll book maintained by the coaching staff.
Payments
- Monthly payments are due on the 1st regardless of notification.
- A $25.00 late fee will be charged if the fee is not paid by the 16th of the month. A student may be held out of gymnastics lessons any time after the late fee has been applied.
- Payments will be accepted by cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard.
- A $25.00 returned check fee will be assessed for all checks returned by the bank.
- We encourage families to set up automatic payments. Please visit your front desk for details.
